Rams get Pats again

Vicki McKenzie hit a solo homer off of Northern’s Kaitlyn Schmeiser to account for all the runs scored in the McDonough Rams’ 1-0 win over the visiting Patriots on Monday.

Faced with a second-and-third, two-out situation in the top of the seventh, McDonough’s Jazzmyn Hayden delivered a game-ending strikeout to seal the victory and deal the Patriots their first loss of the season.
